The name on the door
“Calico Charlie” was the nickname of Charles Foster — the former Ohio governor Fostoria is named after. The shop keeps that local history close, with salvaged shelving, chandeliers, and a five-and-dime cart woven into its rooms.
Rooted in the community
We love teaming up with local farmers and small businesses around Seneca County, and we fill the shop with pieces of Fostoria’s story wherever we can.
