Why “Calico Charlie”?
The name honors Charles Foster, Fostoria’s namesake and a former Ohio governor, whose nickname was “Calico Charlie.” Inside the shop you’ll spot pieces of that story — from rescued local shelving to chandeliers and a five-and-dime cart.
